Mickaboo Companion Bird Rescue (MCBR) is our local bird rescue group. MCBR has provided excellent and invaluable care to birds in need in the greater Bay Area for years. Please consider adopting a bird before purchasing one.
The Oasis Sanctuary is a non-profit life-care facility for captive exotic birds from across the United States. They provide a home for otherwise un-placeable birds. Please consider supporting their efforts.
Community Resources
SF Aid for Animals (SFAfA) was created in 2009 by the San Francisco Veterinary Medical Association to provide charitably aid for owners unable to afford lifesaving care.
